Application of the Foto-GIS System for Digitization of Photographic Documentation in Construction Projects

Abstract

During the implementation of the project, a building undergoes various stages during which the required documentation is prepared. It constitutes evidentiary, informational and descriptive value of the construction process and is proof that all works during the construction of the building were carried out safely and in accordance with the requirements. One of the tools supporting participants in documenting the process is digitization, which is an element of the broadly understood digitization process. The article proposes the use of the Foto-GIS system to prepare and manage photo documentation of a construction project.
